EPTCON’s mission is to provide the highest quality, best in class service; professionally, honestly and ethically with the goal of complete customer satisfaction for a fair price.

To establish lasting relationships with our customers by being flexible, exceeding our customer’s expectations, and continuously setting new standards of efficiency and effectiveness in safety and quality.

To our valued customers:

The outbreak of the COVID-19 virus and the changes to public safety guidelines being issued by governmental health organizations are both rapidly evolving.

The Cormorant Utility Services Group of Companies is working hard to ensure the health, safety and environment of our employees, our customers and the general public, while still working diligently on the services and products we deliver.

Actions being taken to date include:

  • The formation of the Cormorant COVID-19 response team, both at the corporate and regional level and monitoring of the health, safety and environment of our organization
  • Regular communication and updates to our Cormorant employees
  • Increased hand and respiratory etiquette hygiene practices
  • Ensuring employees who have encountered anyone with COVID-19 stay at home for 14 days
  • Isolating employees who return from personal travel
  • Suspension of business travel
  • Expanding the group of employees who can work from home or remotely
  • Respecting any additional requirements our clients may request

The COVID-19 guidelines allow for construction to continue, provided no more than 50 workers are working in any one space at a time.

Site managers are taking the following steps:

  • reduce face-to-face meetings and hold site meetings in open spaces or outside;
  • increase the number of hand-washing stations and post signage identifying where they are located;
  • Maintain a list of workers on site and update it daily;
  • Clean all common areas at the end of each day, including washrooms, offices, common tables, desks, light switches and door handles; and
  • Send anyone with COVID-19 symptoms home and require them to maintain 14 days of isolation.

We are communicating with our suppliers and sub-contractors and have asked them to apply similar guidance to their employees visiting our offices or work sites.
