EPTCON Ltd. (Electrical Power & Transmission Construction), is a specialized contracting company that provides complete Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of High Voltage electrical installations. Refurbishment and maintenance services also round out our portfolio.

Since our inception in 1998, EPTCON has successfully completed a multitude of challenging projects throughout Canada.

Our History

EPTCON Ltd. was founded by David Radtke and Peter Langenhan in July, 1998, as an IBEW signatory, High Voltage Substation and Transmission Construction Company.

Head offices were originally set up in the Newmarket area but moved to Cambridge, ON as work expanded.

Relay panel and pre-fabricated control building assembly started in 2006, expanding to a 50,000 square foot manufacturing facility in 2010.

EPTCON was purchased by Columbus Utility Services in October 2016, which is a nationwide group that provides full EPC services to the Utility Power Sector.
